Gene's Profile

Gene was born and raised in Texas. He started to learn the piano from his mother at the age of five. He became a part of the Austin music scene in the seventies and eighties as a keyboardist and songwriter. Gene performed and also recorded his first album with some of Austin's great musicians such as Christopher Cross and Eric Johnson.

Gene now lives in Colorado and has released his second instrumental CD, "Chasing The Clouds". Another CD is currently in production and will introduce some different aspects of Gene's music.  Hint:  Listen for his trumpet playing!

Gene was also a nationally ranked tennis player as well as an instructor to some of the well known tennis pros of the eighties and nineties.
